Dear Kelly, and thank YOU! Fondly, Sassy

Hello Sassy, Just wanted to let you know that the Peterson Johnson onyx/sterling necklace arrived on Saturday, and I must confess I wore it all weekend! I had wondered if this piece might be too showy or dramatic, but the cabochons are exactly the right size for my small frame, with just the right amount of ornamentation. The necklace looks even better up close than it does in the Internet photo! Gorgeous. :) Thank you again for the great service and lovely products. Have a great week, Sassy! Fond Regards, Kelly D.

1880s ANTIQUE 14K

ROSE GOLD &

CORAL CHOKER

Pure High Dutch Red Coral and 14K Rose Gold Choker (tests positive for 14K gold) Item FN8468 Eyes are always drawn to the exotic woman who saunters in with a beauty that seems almost effortless. Become that daring diva with the wonder of this circa 1880s Pure High Dutch necklace. Part of a traditional magnificent costume for a parade in the 1880s, it tests positive for 14K gold. And, in fact, during the era that this was constructed, 14k gold was used for these necklaces. The oak leaf design was dropped in 1904. The center of the clasp has different symbols that stand for different meanings so each necklace was a little different... The symbols signify either married, single, widowed, protestant, or catholic (square) plus area of the country. This necklace belonged to a married protestant woman from an area known as Walcheren. These treasured heirloom necklaces were normally passed on to the eldest daughter and they rarely leave families. This necklace came from an estate in New Orleans. Dazzling reddish coral is the riveting focus of this necklace's stylish centerpiece. A large, captivating red coral bead looks simply stunning at the center of a luxurious 14K rose gold centerpiece. All 3 parts of the gold clasp are solid 14K gold. The back of the clasp has some type of red coral colored flaking coming off. Believe it may be matching color glue but not sure. It does not affect the necklace clasp at all...I promise. This fantastic antique beauty is given vivacious vigor with a plethora of carved and polished coral beads that wreath the center gem with their wonderful accents. Five strands of magnificent coral beads flows around the neck providing alluring presence and daunting dramatic flow. This opulent coral choker is 14 and 3/4" long and closes with a hook clasp that is hidden at the front. Let the world feast it's eyes on this exotic rare antique delight and indulge yourself in its luxury. It's over 100 years old! Excellent condition. Price $2400.00 SOLD

Dear Michele, I didn't even know I was in a magazine. Thank you so much for writing. Sassy

I received the necklace set. It will make a lovely present for my mother's summer accessories. I first heard about your site from a article in Essense magazine. There was a ring featured in the magazine and it showed your website. I love your crucifix's and your sets. I'm sure to be a repeat visitor. Michele

Smart, sexy, seductive, and sophisticated. You are a goddess in your own right and so it is fitting then, that you should be surrounded with glitter as bright as the sun. This circa 1920s Victorian Revival necklace is the definitive signature piece you've always envisioned. In fact, it glitters and sparles even when the light is not shining directly on it!! The top layer is platinum and that includes the whole elaborate ribbon design, the lower leaves, and the 20 diamond links that go all the way around the neck. A dainty, airy design of diamond encrusted, ivy leaves and sweeping, curving diamond ribbons of platinum instills a sense of imperial regency to the woman that wears this intoxicating collection of luxurious gems. Five large emeralds of exceptional quality decorate each of the necklace's arcing swags, adding to the sumptuous shimmer of the necklace's centerpiece. Each florid panel of leaves and ribbons is separated by a shockingly beautiful focal, set off by sparkling white diamond rays with heart-shaped tops, and an emerald focal that descends into a long, lucid diamond form with a single large emerald glimmering below. There are approximately 5 carats of emeralds. There are 302 single cut diamonds adding up to approximately 4 carats. The necklace is made up of 2 complete layers.. Ahh, you say, you want to see that platinum chain around the neck? Here is the platinum and diamond chain. So to speak, there is a complete necklace underneath welded to the top with a space inbetween to allow the diamonds and emeralds to breathe. The under necklace and the emerald mountings, swags, connecting links, and secondary leaves are 14K gold. The necklace measures 15 and 7/8" long and closes with a diamond studded push clasp which was probably added around the 1940s. VICTORIAN

HAIR

& 14K GOLD

NECKLACE

Victorian Hair and 14K Gold Cross Dog Collar (tests positive for 14k Gold) Item VFCN8530 Sassy's eyes just popped when she saw this necklace. It is a very rare and exquisite Victorian mourning necklace from the 1850s and is quite impressive. Sassy says she hasn't seen one this unusual and this completely intact in many many years. Oh yes, she tells me she sees occasional brooches from time to time and sometimes even a bracelet. But a hair necklace? With a cross? Never! It was created during the mourning of a loved one over 150 years ago. The handiwork is high quality in addition to the beautiful spiritual sentiment it expresses. The 14K ornate gold center ball is stately, beautiful, and utilitarian for it closes at the center with a gold squeeze tube push clasp. The necklace is made of woven chestnut brown hair. It has a 14K gold and woven hair cross which dangles from the center. Lacy, and in incredibly great shape, the necklace has a smaller round gold ball at the center back and has gold spacers between the open round hair segments. The hair balls are slightly flattened on the underside in the back from very gentle wear and this makes them able to hug the neck more perfectly. At 13 and 1/2" long, it is meant to wear high on the neck and it can not be extended. This necklace was highly treasured in the 1850s and is even more treasured now as it is extremely rare to find an intact necklace made of hair without any missing pieces and no damage! I have to tell you, Sassy was blown away by it; she loves crosses, and couldn't quit looking at it. Excellent condition. Price $999.00 SOLD
